How do I track my sports bets effectively?
Record every bet you place with details like the event, your prediction, odds, and stake amount. Manually logging each bet forces you to think about your decisions and creates a searchable history. Our tracker lets you categorize by sport, source, and status so you can analyze your performance over time.
What is ROI in sports betting and how do I calculate it?
ROI (Return on Investment) measures your profit relative to the total amount wagered. The formula is: ROI = (Total Profit / Total Amount Wagered) x 100. For example, if you wagered $1,000 total and your net profit is $50, your ROI is 5%. Tracking ROI over time helps you understand whether your approach is sustainable.
Should I track bets in units or dollars?
Tracking in units (where 1 unit = a fixed percentage of your bankroll, typically 1-2%) is preferred by experienced bettors because it normalizes results across different stake sizes. However, tracking actual dollar amounts is also valuable for understanding your real profit and loss. Our tracker supports both approaches.
How do I calculate my win rate for sports betting?
Win rate is simply the number of winning bets divided by total settled bets, expressed as a percentage. For example, if you won 55 out of 100 bets, your win rate is 55%. Note that win rate alone does not determine profitability — the odds at which you win matter just as much. A 45% win rate at average odds of +130 is profitable.
What is a parlay and how do I track parlays?
A parlay combines multiple individual bets (called legs) into one wager. All legs must win for the parlay to pay out, but the combined odds are much higher.
