Frequently asked
How do you calculate parlay odds?+
Convert every leg to decimal odds, multiply them together, then subtract 1 for the net payout multiplier. American odds: positive odds use (odds/100)+1, negative odds use (100/|odds|)+1.
Are same-game parlays priced fairly?+
No. Same-game parlays use correlated legs which books price below true value. Always compare the calculator’s true combined odds to the book’s posted SGP price — the gap is the book’s extra hold.
What win rate do I need to profit on parlays?+
For a +500 parlay, you need to win 1 in 6 (≈16.7%) to break even. For +1000, 1 in 11 (≈9.1%). The calculator shows your exact break-even rate.
Is the calculator free?+
Yes. No account, no signup. The companion parlay tracker is free on the basic tier; Pro unlocks unlimited entries plus AI ROI analysis.
Do you encourage parlays?+
No. Parlays are usually -EV. We build the calculator so people who already play parlays can see the real math and the gap between book pricing and true odds.
